Our last months

Introduction

Hello everyone 😀

We are closing in to the end of our volunteering time here in Croatia but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have some great things still ahead of us 😀

Language Class

Our language classes have officially ended and we will miss them and our students. It was a great time and to talk to the students about our languages and cultures and in exchange also talking about theirs was amazing and one of the memories that I will cherish very much from our volunteering time here.

Croatian Class

Since we started our project in Croatia here we have had croatian lessons and in total we had almost 10 months of croatian lessons. These lessons were always so much fun and our  teacher Antonia taught us in a great way and I feel like everyone can actually speak more than in the beginning of the year 🙂

Požega- MLADI NA POŽEŠKOM KULTURNOM LJETU

Ocean Znanja organised an event in Požega and we volunteered and held some workshops there as well as a global village where we represented our countries. Mathi did an origami workshop, Edu did one on entrepreneurship, Francesco did a capoeira workshop and I had a workshop about myths and legends from all around the world.

Online Campaign

The online campaign ended as well. It was my first time doing something like this and being responsible for my own project and overall it was a great experience and I really hope that I could help some people.

Summer Camp

And finally we made it to the last event as volunteers here, which is the summer camp. Ever since we arrived we have been told about the summer camp and starting on 18th of july we will see for ourselves and are very excited to attend our last event 🙂

Sadly this will be my last blog post, so there is no see you guys next month 🙁

All in all these 11 months were so great and I think that the others would say so as well.
