Sergio in Bremen // 2nd Report

Hello again!

Right now I’m a few months away from finishing my project. And in these months too many things have happened in the project and on a personal level.

The months after writing the 1st report were a bit more complicated, I felt a bit lost, I still didn’t improve my German because we had no luck in finding a teacher, then I had no feedback on my work, so I didn’t know if they were happy with me or if I had to improve something. But now things have been getting better.

In April I started to help in the sports classes. Honestly at the beginning I was not looking forward to it, it was going to change my timetable a bit and it was more work than I was doing before. At the moment I am happy with this change, I have been able to help in new classes and meet more students at the school.

During these months I had the opportunity to travel to more places such as: Düsseldorf, Münster, Krakow and I went back to Berlin. Krakow is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited.

The truth, at the beginning I wasn’t liking Bremen because of the weather, but now that there are more sunny days, I am enjoying the city more, I see it more beautiful and going for a walk along the river is one of my favourite things to do.

In the last few months I have also been able to make more decisions about my future after this stage, and I think that without this experience I would not have been able to make some decisions.

With this project I have realised how happy I am working with children, I had already studied as an educator, but I had not had the opportunity to work in a school.
