Do you want to explore intercultural practice? Would you like to be a part of an environment where you can define your needs, share experiences and inspire each other to develop intercultural strategies and actions for youth work? This is the perfect opportunity to do so!

“Connecting Cultures” is a training course organized in the Bernese Alps, Switzerland, and will include 30 youth workers from 10 different countries: Switzerland (Host), Ireland, Germany, Kosovo, Spain, Israel, Italy, Palestine, Portugal, Tunisia, and UK.

The goals of the project are:

  • To explore cultural diversity and identify the opportunities and challenges it
    presents.
  • To raise awareness and understanding about Intercultural work.
  • To share and discover different intercultural work practice in the youth sector.
  • To generate creative strategies of how and what youth workers in community
    contexts can do to promote best practices in intercultural work within the
    youth sector at a local and European level
  • To raise awareness on Erasmus+ as a resource to improve intercultural work in
    the youth sector

Accommodation and food during the training course will be provided by the organizers. 70% of the travel costs of the participants – minus a participation fee of 120 Euros will be refunded after the training course.

  • You are a resident of Germany
  • You are 18+
  • You are a youth worker/youth leader/educator or a person who is going to work with youth in the near future from your organization
  • You are willing to be a part of a multi cultural group
  • Your English language skills are sufficient to actively participate in the project, including all the activities.
