There is nothing worse in this world than a person who believs in his business.
This is the only thought that has accompanied me throughout this year. When I boarded the plane to Bremen, I already knew what and when I would need to do to achieve my goal. What I have now is not the will of chance or a gift from the universe, but a clearly quite logical conclusion of well-planned steps brought to perfection. Was this the path of a pragmatist? Perhaps. Except I’m not a pragmatist.
Certain decisions didn’t come easy to me. Because the path itself was not easy. When you set a goal, the understanding of sacrifice is already present in your head. A person knows that most likely he will pay a lot of money for his dream. But what is money and material goods when spiritual well-being is at stake? If you want more opportunities, earn more – simple arithmetic. Simple arithmetic in which I miscalculated.
Life doesn’t need money for your biggest dream, since it’s not its currency. It won’t be something you can easily give away. The difficulty on this path is in answering the question: “Are you ready to go down even more? Are you ready to give up what makes you yourself?” And my response was positive.
Mon bel ami, I don’t want to scare you. But I want to make you think carefully about the path that you have to choose. It will not be easy, because always to fill the ocean, you need to dig a pit first. And the only thing that can keep you from falling apart is your motivation and promise. A promise to be faithful to your cause and believe in this cause.
I believe that the wonderful children of the Tobiasschool will have a marvelous future, I believe that every year more and more children will come to the first grade, I believe that more and more people will find their vocation in teaching the younger generation, I believe that then these children will become adults who will change the world and us with you.
Be strong, cher ami, and believe in them as I did and believe in yourself.
Because there is nothing worse in this world than a person who believs in his business. But there is also nothing more beautiful than this…
