If the participation of youth in society is at your heart, this is the event you need to join!
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Dates: 19 – 21 September, 2019
Within this project, you will explore the youth sector of Belgium, studying closely the structure, financial support and management. Belgium is known as a country that is comparably more advanced in terms of youth policies and youth participation. The goal of this project is therefore to explore the existing structures and discuss how they could inspire the remodelling of structures in other European countries.
On this same occasion, there will be the possibility for all participants to get to know the newly elected European parliamentarians, who have been in place for a few weeks, and who will be entrusted with future legislative proposals.
The methodology used for this event will be based on an initial observation and analysis of the Belgian management model, through a social and financial analysis. At the end of this action, each participant (abandoning the national logic) will be called to express himself on the effectiveness that this model would have in its own country, in order to find a common strategy to be discussed in a second event that is to be held in November (the dates are not official yet).
